Scammers list!

Lately I've seen a lot of scammer thread going about saying who has been ripped off by who. Then 2000GTP had a brilliant idea. Make a sticky of basically a "blacklist".

Moderators, you have to agree, this would save a lot of time of researching people and save a lot of problems. So if you can make this a sticky it'd be great!

Rules:
1) Post the screen name of the scammer
2) Post a link going to the thread that shows proof they are a scammer.

Here's some people to start it off:

NtenseZ28 what happened (Shimaze's post)
threadedtire what happened (whole thread)
Bone Daddy what happened (whole thread)

Re: Scammers list!

Lets make sure that we do what you two did and post at least some evidence in a thread or whatever so it doesnt turn into a thing where people post bad things about others just cause they made fun of there car or something.

Good idea though guys

Thread has a good cause, but may turn into a flame fest.

Re: Scammers list!

I thought about that. I was wondering if people might start throwing words and what not so that's why I posted the threads about who it was and what happened. On the first one i even pointed out it was Shimaze's post. So yes, I'll add that to my first post saying you need to have the link going to the thread proving they are scammers.

Re: Scammers list!

Just pay COD, and stop blindly sending your money to people. I would never do that. Hence I've never been ripped off.

Yup. Each story has two sides to it and therefore Chris or Jason do not want to have anything like that. It would be impossible to moderate properly.

Sure, some other sites have it, but they might not be as big as this one is.

Paying COD is really not an insurance against too many things. Pretty much the only thing it secures is that you are getting at least something. Not the condition/suitability etc. of the merchandise. Heck, there could be rocks inside your box. The UPS/FedEx etc. guys will not let you open the box before you pay for it.

My cousin buys COD alot and they've let him open the package to verify what he got before he paid for it.

Re: Scammers list!

The other side of the COD issue for the seller is what if the buyer is a flake? The seller has to pay for shipping both ways to get the stuff back if the the package is refused or non deliverable. How many times has someone said "Ill send you payment tomorrow" & never did? With the COD it will cost sellers money.

& as was said.. technically your not allowed to open the box before paying. Some delivery people may overlook that but you could get a box of rocks anyway.

I have bought at least 20 things from members here. I spend a few minutes checking the seller out first & if I dont feel comfortable I dont make the deal. I almost got bit a couple times but some simple checking kept me from getting ripped.

i agree... I just do a quick search, and within seconds you can get a vibe for a persons selling reputation.
