Is the driveshaft an LT1 or LS1 shaft?

 

It's off of a lt1. I know the a4 and m6's are interchangable but I'm not sure about the lt1 and ls1's. Maybe someone will chime in.

Yes, the LS1's are interchangeable and a lot of people use them because they are lighter, stronger, and more balanced...

Your right Dolby I knew that people on this board are always upgrading to the alum. ls1's. I knew that, but forgot. Man I seem to be doing a lot of that lately this is the 3rd time in the past week that I locked my keys in my car! I did it again today, pretty soon I'll become an expert locksmith for this cars if this keeps up.
