We should start an official good sellers list on here
Just as the title says.
We should get the moderator to make a sticky of a thread for good sellers.
Its easier to say who was a good seller than who was bad, because what one person considers a bad seller, another may think is fine (Lack of speediness with the sale or something)

i just bought a set of bbk shorty coated headers and a stock cam and pushrods from 1KWIK72. This guy was awesome. Not only did he go the extra mile and fix the small problem with the headers, he also took detailed pics of them, and shipped it all in a timely manner. Any questions i had he always had a quick response with a friendly attitude. Id definately do business with this guy again and i highly recommend him.

Theres also been so many poeple buying from sellers who, if they did a background check, have 3-6 threads on them saying "DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAMMER". Its unbelievable how these people can sell still but they do. Even a rating system isn't going to stop getting scammed, because some buyers just refuse to be smart enough to look! Have you ever checked ebay feedback on some buyers? Ive seen some people with 30-100 negative feedbacks, yet they continue to sell items day after day???
Bad seller threads can be pulled up by searching for the buyers name for at least 3-4 years (probably more?). Granted this doesn't catch them the first time but neither does a rating system.
The mods have warned us countless time to do a search on your seller. Beware of new sellers with low post counts & low asking prices. Get as much info from a seller as possible. Sellers with past experience, do a search on them. Read some of their past sales threads. If they have a horrible record DON'T BUY.

yea thats what I have been doing. Once an established offer is made, I check the guys out on here. Just would be nicer if we had a sticky too for fast references.

Re: We should start an official good sellers list on here
All you have to do is search for the name of the person your trying to sell on here to check it out. Making a list when there are 50K people on this site is a little crazy. It would take a whole lot longer to find the guys name instead of just searching for him on here.

Re: We should start an official good sellers list on here
Thanks for the kind words. Having some sort of feedback on sellers and buyers too for that matter would be great. I don't sell a ton of stuff online I just happend to owe a buddy of mine and he had a bunch of LT1 stuff sitting around his garage. I will say this most every one of the people who have contacted me about parts for sale have ended up buying somthing. All have been prompt in sending payment and to me they deserve the same servce in return. Cha0s97, Jim D, 97Pontta, Roger, Jesse and a couple guys from FL (sorry deleted all the old PMs and e-mails) all were great to work with.
Thanks

Here we go again, at least once a month we all get motivated to start an official "good sellers" list, it lasts for a couple days, then we forget about it.

It would be nice if the Moderators made a Sticky post so it didnt get buried after a couple hours. That is one thing I notice about this site....lots of posts great for selling stuff but hard to find a particular post.
