Where to get a New 350 chevy SB 4 bolt main
Anyone know where I can get a brand new 350 chevy SB 4 bolt main bare block for under 670$? I found them for sale in summit racings special edition magazine for 659.95 brand new looking for a better deal if there is.
Also I could use a set of bare heads too for that block best price I found were the 64cc angled plug World Sportsman II Iron heads for 599$ brand new. Anyone know a better deal or a better set of heads I could use with that block.
This block is for street use mainly and I want around 425-500 hp from it. These parts have to be comptible with the following.
My old block has a faulty cylinder head that caused it to leak into my #4 cyclinder and cause water damage and it got into my oil too so i have to rebuild the motor anyway the block is real old and I want to gut it and get a new block and heads and reuse all my inards. My old engine is a 350 Chevy SB 4 bolt main cleaned, baked, honed and bored 60 over with a Heavy Duty Eagle Crank a Comp cam kit with lifters part #12-250-3 with 507 intake lift, Edelbrock performer RPM intake, Stock heads that have had everything done to them (decked, magna fluxed etc...) arp locking studs and guiding plates with stock springs 1.50 roller rocker arms and comp cams pushrods heavy duty, hooker competition exhaust manifold, 650 CFM holley street avenger carb with electric choke ,MSD 6al ignition system and a Msd distributor. I am sure i missed somthin I would be greatly appreciative any advice anyone can give. Thanks.

350
I have several 350 4 bolt mains I'll sell. Good seasoned blocks. Stronger than a new casting. I am in southeast Alabama. I get $250 for complete motor. Block, heads, internals. You pick up.
