Red face AHH!!! TREE SAP, Help needed inside!

I parked my car under a tree this weekend and it was covered front to back with pin sized drops of tree sap. What is the best way to get it off; also considering that I live in an apartment ? Or better yet what should I buy to get it off?
Thanks
Joe

I know this sounds simple, but have you tried hand washing it off?

You might have to use a clay bar if the sap has been on there awhile.

If Kevin's suggestion of a hand wash doesn't get it all off (Don't scrub really hard, though!),try a clay bar....

Wink

Thanks for the advice. I washed it a couple of times last night and most of the sap seemed to come off. I think I will get a clay bar and some 3M swirl remover to remove the rest of the sap. I also have some sap on the roof that is about a year old that I need to get off. I think an abrasive like swirl remover will get it off.
