ok so i traded my green 95 for a black 98. it was kinda dirty but the car is nice. i washed it today and found out that someone cant buff. the car has been buffed and there are buff marks all over the place. it looks like **** and im kinda pissed and want to fix it NOW. should i have a professional re-buff it or try some thing that i can do my self and get good results? i tried to wax it with eagle one and that didnt help at all. dont recommend zaino either because i need it now, not tomorrow or next week. what should i do??????????????

i would take it to a professional. its really hard to comment anymore, because i cant see how bad it really is. take it to a pro and see what they recommend.

First I would clay bar the entire car, chances are the other owner did not do this, then even if you had Zaino now, it is not what I would start out with. You need to use a mild polishing compound with an orbital buffer and foam pad on the whole car. I would use 3M Swirl Mark Remover part number 39009 (available at Pep boys) with the buffer. You can use it by hand but will not get near the results as with a buffer. If you are not confident in what you are doing with a machine, contact a pro.

After the paint is smoothed out with the polishing compound I would use a durable swirl and scratch filler, the Zaino Z-5 Show Car Polish for Swirls and Scratches.
