Car goes in tomorrow to get repainted. I want to Zaino it(even though I don't have any yet) and I'm wondering when the best time to do it would be. I work at a University and I'm having their auto body program paint it for me. So I can get in the shop before it's even pulled out if I want to. Wondering if this is a good idea with the new paint or if I should wait a week or two. I don't want anything to happen to it before I Zaino so that's why I wanna do it before the garage doors are opened. Any advice would be appreciated. Also where's a good place to buy Zaino products?

I'd contact them and ask about it. Wouldn't hurt to discuss it with the folks painting your car either.

Zaino is not a wax. So it won't trap the chemicals that need to escape while the paint is curing. You can apply Zaino right after you get the car back from the body shop.

 

FYI I called the Zaino guy up today. He said to wait 5 days after the car is painted to apply the Zaino products.
