Question Best ways to get off shoe polish?

Just curious. I have found that Brake Kleen or Carb and Choke type cleaners have worked best. Just spray a little onto the rag and it comes right off. What do you guys use?

PS Just make sure not to get any of it on the paint!!

If you are talking about the #'s on the windshield from racing, here is a tip. Put on a coat of wax or Zaino on the windshield before the numbers are put on. It makes removal VERY easy. I use the Zaino and with a damp rag it wipes right off.

Hehe, I found out the hard way last fall when I left shoe polish on my window over night. Wow, did I have a heck of a time getting it off.

A razor blade and some patience. I have done this many times, scratch free...

Sounds like a good idea. I'll have to try that next time.
