changeing color completely?

I am debating on changing the color of my car to somthing I like a little more. I want to do somthing custom, Right now its PPM and I like it but im not sure if its my style. When you full change the color would I have to remove the engine to paint the engine bay? Thats the only part I dont know if it would be worth it to me

I think it would look a little out of place if the exterior of the car was one color and the engine bay another. Especially if it is going to be a show car. JMHO.

You can always do what I did to my blue car and just spray paint the engine bay black. It doesn't matter what color the car is, a black engine bay will be acceptable...unless maybe you go with white. That would look kinda strange.

Im really not sure of the color yet. I really love the Nissan 350Z blue, I think it looks amazing. I just dont know what it would cost to drop an engine? If its going to be a different color I want it the same inside the engine bay, it would look gay if not done. IMO

i was really thinking about this and there might be away to make it so you can leave your engine bay the same color and it wont look to bad.. well since my car is silver adn the bay is silver i have seen some cars with a silver stipe down the side that flows down ward over the front wheel into the bumper. what if i were to raise this up couple inches so it goes over the top of teh fender and partial hood so when you lift the hood you can see the stripe on the fender blending into the engine bay ( beeing that it is the same color) if you dont understand this i could possibly draw a pic. i was just thinking of ways to get around this and tweeking it

Yup, to correctly change the color of a 3rd and 4th gen F-body, you will need to remove the engine and trans, and spray all that, and remove the doors, hood and trunk to cmpletely get the jambs, which means gutting a fair majority of the interior as well.
