Clay bar?
What is the difference in the color of the clay bars and where do I get a "red" one.
Once I have it how do I go about using it properly. I heard soap and water but not sure
thanks

i dont know if the different colors make a difference. I know that when u buy one you usually get a quick detailing spray to lube up. Clean car, dry, spray detailing spray, make sure you work the clay bar (knead it a couple times pulling it forward and then folding it back) making it the size of your palm, put it on the wet spot and rub back and forth until the area is smooth. You will feel it pulling off the cr*p on your car. Wipe off with a clean towel and knead the clay bar again and wet a new area and repeat.

You don't need red clay (the most abrasive, made by clay magic, and I wouldnt recommend that a newbie uses it) unless you're removing heavy overspray. Regular detailing clay (Mother's, Clay Magic blue, Meguiar's, etc) will work fine. www.autopia-carcare.com sells very good clay for only $6 a bar, and use a few drops of car shampoo in a spray bottle with water as lube.
