Claybar questions
If weather permits, I will be claying/zaino'ing my car this weekend. I was wondering whats best to lubricate the clay when using it on the car. Can I use just plain old water? Or should I use some sort of car wash? I don't have the Z-7 car wash, so what would be a good alternative?

No Z-7?!?! Get some! or use some other car soap mixed with water in a spray bottle. Plain water won't cut it. Need some soap mixed in to lube it up. And use alot of your lube mixture on the area you are claying... the more the better. Then hang on to the clay, because it can slip right out of your hands.

I always use a car wash soap (Zaino Z7) and water as lube. I mix the soap just like I was about to wash the car, and use the soapy solution with a clean mitt to lube the surface. You NEVER want to use straight water for lube, but you can also use a QD spray if that's what you like to use. I've had excellent results from the standard soap+water+suds routine.....
