Cool a couple of car washing questions.

i know when polishing my car i should be using the fieldcrest charisma towels, but what about when i wash my car, can i get a "car washing towel" or sponge at pep boys? any good ones? if i'm not using the zaino car wash which one is a good alternative? one more thing about drying the car, i remember seeing these drying sheets last time i went to pep boys where you just pat the car dry, are they good? thanks.

Never use a sponge on clear coat, you want your washing mit or cloth to also be 100% cotton. You can use part of a towel.

any good ones?

Viking all cotton mit is good but hard to find at this point.

if i'm not using the zaino car wash which one is a good alternative?

Use one with NO wax in it.

one more thing about drying the car, i remember seeing these drying sheets last time i went to pep boys where you just pat the car dry, are they good?

The only one I like comes in a tube and is called The Absorber

thanks.

well, i can honestly say that i am a big dummy i went to pep boys walked around that store for about an hour, i thought i was getting car wash, but when i got home i realized it said meguiers gold class liquid wax, but i did get the absorber, so that was good, i couldn't find the viking all cotton mit or a car cover that i felt was expensive enough, so i go to walmart... bad idea, they had practically nothing, and cheap $20 car covers, now i did see a bunch of sheepskin and chameol (something spelled with a ch)washh gloves/towels, are they ok or no? they felt pretty soft, but i didn't buy them... i just went through my "car junk" and i found a bottle of armor all car wash concentrate, could i use that for a car wash without harming my paint, i'm pretty sure it is the cheap stuff. I still have one problem: what am i going to do with this meguiars wax, after using zaino on my camaro i can't even touch this stuff!

Pep boys will give you your money back for the wax.

Finding the Viking 100% cotton mitt, with cotton logo, is getting to be like finding the Holy Grail.

We need to figure out how to start getting them again.
