Post Getting the tires clean

What do you guys do to get the tires perfectly clean and shiny? I've tried using a rough rubbing sponge with carwash soap and dish soap. I followed that up with Meguiar's high endurance tire gel. When I look at the tires in the sun they still look kinda brown in places and greasy from the tire gel. I want them to be very clean with a deep black like-new look. What else can I do? Thanks.

Lately, I have been using the Eagle 20/20 tire shine. It does a great job of making the tires clean & black. The only downsides are that the tires are almost too shiny and no matter how long I let the car sit, some of the goop gets thrown up on the fenders. Of course, that could be my fault for using too much of the product on them. I bought some Z-16 on Saturday and will be trying that next.

Yes, the Eagle One Wet (20/20 is the glass cleaner) is one of the worst for sling off all down the side of the car (A HUGE pet peeve of mine, I hate it)

Z-16 will not do this as long as you do not apply Z-16 on top of another tire shiner like the Eagle One. You need to clean the tire as I said above with Simple Green first to get the Z-16 to soak in.
