Header clean-up

Does anyone know if there is a good, safe product that cleans up ceramic coated headers?

Yes, I believe it's called elbow grease or something to that effect.

Seriously though, try some 0000 ultra fine steel wool. That should get just about anything off, unless it is thick rust or something. That hopefully shouldn't be an issue with ceramic coated headers.

What exactly is the problem anyway?

headers

the headers have some oil and grease stains ect. due to being a little old and been handled quite a bit during removal. There is also some slight rusting on a few areas too.

In that case, just use some simple green or something, with a rag.
