Help with polishing or waxing new paint
My car was painted 4 months ago and I want to clean/polish/wax it. The paint job came out looking really good and I want to make sure it stays looking good. Where should I start? Should I just polish or wax it or should I use a conditioner/cleaner first? Any advise is greatly appreciated.

The first thing you should do is run your hand over the entire surface of the car to inspect for over spray, dirt, or dust nibs, or anything that could be removed by using a Clay Bar. The last thing you want to do is wax or polish over paint contamination.
If the car does have a high gloss and is not dull and does not have swirls or scratching problems you probably can go straight to a final finish wax or synthetic polish. If it does have swirls you might want to use 3M Swirl Mark Remover part number 39009 before your final finish wax or polish. Make sure you buy quaility car wash and wash the car at least once per week and use a detailer spray on the paint 2 or 3 times per week given the paint is clean before you use the detailer spray.
