Depends on how you use it. Obviously if you don't know how to use Zaino, or any wax/polish for that matter, then it will come out crappy. Just read the directions when you get it, and hope it gets rid of the swirls.

The Z-5 will gradually fill in the existing swirl marks. The worse they are, the more layers it will take. The MOST important thing is to NOT be constantly putting in new swirls or it will be a loosing battle. Use 100% cotton mitts and towels (the real good ones) and develop a very light touch.
As far as new Zaino products, Sal will not release new products until they have been thoroughly tested and meet his high standards. The ZFX was tested for a considerable time even before it was tested by several of us for 2 years before it was actually released. The good part, he is always trying ways to creat new products and make the current products even better.

Well, you're close, but not quite there. I guess the only thing I can say is that there "would" be negative effects to adding it on top of the existing Zaino. Think about it like this.....if you applied 3M SMR on top of Z, what would it do...?
As has been mentioned, it's going to be a while until you see a finalized version for sale, due to extensive testing. It will be exciting though because the product does/will work great!

There are no short cuts to a swirl-free finish. There are no miracle cures available or will be. The only cure for swirls is prep work and prevention. Filling a swirl with oils or Zaino does not remove the swirl but only make it less apparant.
Start over and eliminate your surface marring and present your Zaino to the best carvas possible.
I have a black 95 that is rather swirl/ haze/ and marr-free

Yea i know, nothing is gonna be a miracle cure...Just kinda messing around. I do need to start over again, which blows alot, cause its gonna take sooo much time that I dont have. Maybe ill just wait for summer to get here when ill have some free time(outa school).
I thought I was preventing it enough...I had one wash mit for windows and kick panals, and then one 100% cotton covered spunge from pep boys(this thing is fine right?)
To dry I use a clean water blade that I wipe off after every swipe..I wipe if off on an absorber, which I then use to detail the rest of the water with.
Do you think my $20 car cover from walmart would cause these things? I doubt it because its not like the cover is rubbing on it.
Please let me know if you know where I might be getting the swirlies from, caues I need to find out before i start all over again ya know?

I am not a fan of outdoor use of car covers. No matter how soft the contact material, there will likely be some abrasive material that gets trap between it and your paint. It is a tough decision whether to use of not to use because of differing situations. If all your detailing techniques and tools are good, look into the possibility of car cover micro-marring. I used a car cover for years on a red car, no obvious damage because red is so forgiving. Black... even falling pollen causes swirls!

Hmm, yea I gotta use my cover to keep it clean, and cause I always get up early for work or school, and if its not covered its covered in dew and fog crap that I cant see outa any of the windows.
Sucks if thats whats causing it though

Zaino's swirl-remover sounds interesting, but I'm pretty happy with Meguiar's. Easy to work with and does a good job of keeping my car swirl-free.

Zaino Z-5 is not a swirl REMOVER, Z-5 covers or fills in scratches, it does not remove them because Zaino contains no abrasives, and you need an abrasive product to remove swirls, after you use a swirl remover like 3M Scratch and Swirl Remover or Meguiar's Scratch Remover you should wash your car with Dawn to remove any silicones that maybe still on the car, this will help any polish/wax that you use bond better.
