Marks on hood

There are a bunch of tiny hair like scratches that cover the entire surface of my hood. They are only on the hood, and you can only see them when you look closely. It's almost like the heat of the hood has caused the paint to crack, but I doubt that. I noticed that my girlfriend's mom's V6 Camaro also has this problem but not quite as badly as mine.

Is there any way to get rid of these marks besides to repaint the hood? Is this a common problem?

I don't know if those will work. The car doesn't really look that bad, that camera flash made it look terrible. You can only see these when it's dark and a light shines on the car, and you can see them faintly in sunlight.

How about the color specific paint by Turtle Wax? After I waxed with Zymol it got worse on the hood because the scratches seemed to fill with white. You can still only see it up close.

Maybe if I use that and then a sealer it will help it out. Later I'll just get an SS hood. I've been wanting to do that for a while.

If The Scratches Are In The Clear Coat You Can Use 2000 Grit Sand Paper (wet) Then Buff It Out With 3m Compound Pad And Perfect It-2 Compound Then Polish It With A 3m Polish Pad And Perfect It Polish Glaze. If They Are Cracks The It Needs To Be Repainted
