Angry my dash has a crack in it

I am PISSED OFF right now. I have a whole 3500 miles on my car and the dash cracked on top of all the other random problems (power window motors suck, rattles are starting) I'm glad I paid over $30,000 for a car seemingly built by Fisher Price. Anyway, is there anything I can do to fix the crack or stop it before it gets worse. I never had this problem. It is still under warranty so I could take it to the dealer, but just wondering if anyone knew of a way to fix it without dropping it off at the dealer and having "random" miles add up from them

Thanks for any help.

Well, no you can't fix it once it's happened. Get a new piece, and treat it periodically with some aerospace 303 protectant or something better than armorall and it should prolong its life. Get some tint or clear uv shield put on the windshield too (that'll help protect all your interior) Other than that just don't park the car in the sun if you don't have too.

The windows are just a maintenence item.. think of it that way. Autozone gives a lifetime warranty on their motors, just pay the 50 bucks and all your subsequent motors are free. Just replace every two years or 30,000 miles whichever comes first

The rattles are a nuissance, some subframe connects really help correct that. Look into a set, they'll do wonders IMO.

Sorry you're having problems with the new car, I know that sucks I hope you don't have a lemon, these are great cars IMO (or at least they have been for me )

Oh, and the car won't come back from the dealer with any extra miles if you sit and watch it..

Thanks for the help Lost...I just re-read my post and I must've been in a bad mood yesterday, I kinda feel guilty bad-mouthin my car like that... wierd... anyway, I got the car new in October, it has been garage kept and I use Zaino leather conditioner on my whole interior. I'm thinking I just didn't notice it and someone at the dealer might have cracked it. It's only about 1/2 inch long. I'm gonna go back to the dealer at the end of the week and tell them to fix it. The windows are ok they're just getting slower & the rattles aren't really as bad as I made them sound. My loudmouth exhaust doesn't help out any All it took was a sunny 70 degree day in jersey with the t-tops off to cheer me up

You know, the car is just like a woman. When you're having problems nothing makes you more pissed.. you throw crap, swear, curse the day you brought it home, but as soon as you start it back up you forget all your worries. Kinda like make-up sex, huh?

Good luck with the jerk offs at the dealership

Since my fiance` has occasionally been known to glance at this board for me when I've needed her to...I'm not gonna touch that last post with a 10 ft. pole!!!
