New paint care

Well i got hit by a peice of wood on the interstate a few weeks ago, so i had to have my hood, front bumper, and headlight cover repainted. I also had an area in the back that had a nice scratch on it, so i had the rear quarter panel repainted too.

So what is the proper care for new paint? I just got it back yesterday, is it ok to wash it today? And can i apply ANY protection to it? I kind of hate the idea of having nothing on it. Ive heard Zaino can be applied to new paint without harming the curing process, is this true? Or should i just hold off on that too?

Re: New paint care

I think Sal says wait about two weeks before applying Zaino to new paint.
