Post New paint job...what zaino products to purchase?

I am having my car repainted. Its a $2000+ paint job...and black. I know the guy doin it and he does phenominal work (EVERY body part is removed, painted, polished and replaced). I want to keep this paint looking new and am going to use Zaino, but what all products will I need? Also, I was thinking about a leBra to protect the front of my car from rock chips, but am concerned with it scratching my paint.

With the black, I'd use the Z-5 polish instead of the Z-2.

I'd get the Z-1 cleaner/prep, Z-5 polish, Z-6 enhancer spray, Z-7 wash, Z-18 clay and applicators. You may also want to consider some of the other products for the interior, glass and tires.

The Lebra is a low quality bra and has been reported here to cause paint damage, I use a Colgan bra just on trips and have very good luck with it. Colgan invented the car bra, a Colgan bra is about twice the tickness and weight of a Lebra or Wolf bra.

Kevin V is right on the mark as to what you need Zaino wise, also I would not let anything touch the paint that was not cotton, all your towels and washing supplies and items need to be top quality cotton. The towels I make and many like Kevin V use here would be great. Here is my towel info:

I have two kinds of towels, both white color only, edges removed and re sewn on a
special machine called a serger with all cotton thread to prevent ravel. I have
Fieldcrest Royal Velvet and Fieldcrest Charisma, the Royal Velvets are great but the
Charismas are heavier and softer.

My standard towels come in a pack of 2 sized 20 inches by 28 inches approx., one
pack of Royal Velvet is 15.00 and one pack of Charismas are 18.00. I can do special
orders, full sized towels, 2 to a pack, or 4 to a pack(each pack contains the same
amount of toweling, just cut different)

If I know how many you want I can give you an order total with shipping.

I take credit cards online with www.paypal.com or people mail me checks. If you want to order online with a credit card, let me know as I have to send you a funds
request from my payment service.

Why use Z5 instead of Z2? I'm confused. I thought Z2 was the higher optical quality and what I should use... And why the clay bar, its brand new paint...

Easy, since black is the eaiest color to show scratches and swirls, the Z-5 is the product you want to start with as it is the scratch and swirl filler in the Zaino lineup, you can always use Z-2 if you want, but I have many customers with black cars and the Z-5 is all they ever use.

Any car that is ever in a body shop is succeptable to overspray, check every inch of the paint and glass to inspect for overspray, if you find none, skip the clay bar at first, but you WILL need the clay bar down the road to remove all sorts of things like bugs, tree sap, brake dust, carbon, so forth.
