No luster after wash/wax

A few months ago, I had the hood of my car re-painted (due to fade and chips), and the fenders and front clip blended.
When I wash the car, it is really hard to get the hood to shine. There are always streaks. I use Zymol wash, and dry w/ soft towels. I also have applied 2 coats of Meguiars wax.
Suggestions?

Meguiars are not known at all for their durability, you are simply washing off the wax during hand washing (I have been there for sure). Also it sounds like you may need to clay the car as it was in a body shop and over spray is quite common on partial re-paints and this could be the streaks you are seeing.

Wash with Z7 after having applied numerous Z2/Z5 applications, and your car will always look like this, even right after a wash!
