Old wax Removal

Old wax Removal

I have a 98 camaro ss and the front grill ( a black plastic) has white dried wax on it and no matter what i do i cant seem to get it off do you guys have any suggestions?

Hmm, well you might try some diluted Simple Green on a cotton cloth.

Believe it or not, peanut butter works too. You might also try a mild paint cleaner like Meguiar's step 1 deep crystal or a plastic polish/cleaner.

I am sure you are talking about the black textured piece of plastic, (has the same texture as the divider between the hood and windshield)

Try an old tooth brush scrubbed with rubbing alcohol or lighter fluid.

I've had success with a product called Autosol. It's a German Plastic cleaner I picked up at Emmons Coachworks here in Chicagoland. I got it from them locally but I think you can find them on the internet. They mostly cater to Mercedes, BMW, ect.
