Pictures of my hard work:)

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/300594/6

I took these this morning.

I had asked on some idea's of cleaning it up really nice for the spring.

When I had the snow tires on I compounded the stock wheels up nicely, then waxed them with mothers, 2 coats of KIT carnuba, and 1 coat of Meguiars NXT, they came out Really nice for painted alloy wheels that have never had much other then a wipe down!

The car I had the hood and rear bumper re-painted in the fall, they came out really nice! I did one coat of Mothers Carnuba cleaner wax paste then 2 coats of Meguiars NXT paste.

Cayenne red doesnt reflect quite the way a bright red or black car would, but I'm happy with the results, it looks SO good! I drove it into Manhattan sunday night and was affrade to leave it on the streets!

Re: Pictures of my hard work:)

Thanks for all the compliments, it means alot!

I might try Mothers carnuba paste w/o the cleaner next time and do a few coats, but this combo works well for me and it seems pretty durable since my car is driven daily and sits outside more then in a garage.

Thanks again-

~Chris

That ride looks great! That looks like the same color as my grand prix almost, and that color in my opinion looks so beautiful in the sunlight, better than bright red. just my .02. have you ever tried meguires paint cleaner and polish. That works great too.

I love Cayenne Red, but it only looks real good when its freshly waxed or freshly washed. Give it a day and it starts to look a little like dirty rust IMO.

I like that it's one of the rare'ist colors! I see one maybe every other year??? Last one I saw was over a year ago on a 1996 Z28 down by the shore.

I hate the dirt that forms on the rear bumper! But every F body I see has it (I wonder if the down force from under the spoiler is to blame?)

I agree, it starts to look weathered quickly, but doesnt look too bad ever IMO. I wish I had the Chromed wheels rarther the painted ones, I think it would of set the car off well.
