Pine sap on car!!
Anyone ever had pine sap get on their car? Anyone got ideas on how to get it off?? I'm having a garage built right now, so I had to park my car else where, and it happened to be under pine trees. Must just be the time of year or soemthing, becaue I've parked it there before. But there are these little bity clear specks all over the thing! I havent tryed washing it yet, but I dont think it is going to easily come off. I've had some sap fall on it before and it had to literally wear of before it was gone. The only thing I can think of is to have it detailed with a buffer and stuff. Any other ideas?

Ok, I got tree sap specs all over my car last week.. I noticed it pretty much as soon as I got back to the car.. I used Meguiars Final Inspection, which I sprayed on each drop of sap, and used a 100% cotton towl to gently wipe it off, and kept doing that turning the towel over and inside out. I then washed 3 times, using different mitts and sponges.. Which I threw away afterwards.
The sap spots were completely gone. But the car was waxed before, so they didnt really get into the paint, and never had much time anyway.

i had some sap from my gf's house before and i used some of that orange concentrate they advertise sometimes on TV. I picked it up from a bed & bath store. It worked really well. i put it on and let it sit for a little while then came back and rubbed it out. it took a little while, but it came off nicely.
