Post Tried The Glosser

Some of you have probably seen The Glosser for sale. Another quick detailing product. What it is is a wipe impregnated with a liquid detailer. I applied it over a Zainoed surface, and it worked good, even improved the shine, but don't know for how long. Now, before some of you get your panties in a wad, I put it on a storage cabinet I have in my shed. I Zainoed it a couple weeks ago just for this test, and let some dust build up on it. The cabinet looked better than it had in years with the Zaino, and The Glosser made it look even better. Since it's a small cabinet, I'm thinking about sitting it outside and see what happens.

Thanks, good review! I've seen the Glosser on shelves for a while too, but have always been hesitant to try it. Isn't it basically a microfiber cloth? I thought I remember reading on the package that it is...nothing big, just curious. I'm assuming it's wet to the touch when you unwrap it if it contains a liquid detailer? I'm just guessing that it contains some sort of "wax" or oils, but I could be wrong... Anyhow, thanks for the report. I've heard conflicting reviews so far on the product, so I'm not 100% sold just yet. Keep us updated if you will, I'd like to hear it's long term performance.

This product should not be used on a Zainoed surface, if you do use it over Zaino you will need to wash the car with Z-7 to remove the oils in the cloth in order for the next coat of Zaino to stick or for the Z-6 to work correctly, remember, OILS and Zaino do not mix. You should be using the Z-6 and a nice cloth to remove the light dust. Same thing would apply if you used another kind of spray detailer over Zaino other than Z-6, it would comtaminate your work with Zaino.
