Comparison of my car with Meguires gold class and Zaino.
One thing to note is that it was much more overcast when I took the picture with Meguires, but I think youd still see the difference.

Feedback welcome.

I do notice the clouds on the Zainoed car reflect off the windshield much better than the Gold Class windshield. You probably used the same glass cleaner.... so I would conclude the difference in the shine is due to the difference in lighting conditions. IMO. Nice car though!

Do you drive this much? How many miles are on the clock?
Again, very very nice!

Dude, come on man. I was just as skeptical as you initially. But I have to give credit where credit is due. I said that the lighting conditions outside were different.
But beyond that, my car is much more shiny for longer stretches. When I decided to add a second coat of Zaino, I noticed that when I washed my car, the water simply RAN off my car. Usually after 5 days in FL this is not the case with my usual waxes and carnuba's.
The shine isn't oh my freaking GOD good...but its good enough for me to notice the difference. And it does last entirely longer.
I have reserves about Zaino so far too.
After 2 applications of Z-5, I dont see it helping with any micromarring at all.....and the Z-6 doesnt seem any better than any other over the shelf spray shiner. So next time Ill stick to the Z-1, Z-2 and Clay bar. Which would be about 35 dollars worth of stuff. Which makes it a much better value for me at least.
I am impressed greatly with its durability, and good enough shine to recommend it to Coworkers who drive FBodies. Remember dude...I was one who was on your bandwagon before I tried it.
To me, If I stick with the Z-1, Z-2, Clay bar...then its a GREAT VALUE. And to be honest with you...I said that the Z-6 works as well as anyother over the counter spray, so why not use it? Its not greatly expensive and it does do a great job of keeping the dust off my car.

Darth....
There are now 22K miles on the clock. But Ive put 10K of those miles in the last 8 months. I figured it was meant to be driven, and hiding it wouldn't be worth owning it. I love to looks I get in it.
Admittedly I clay the rims, wash them, and wax and polish them. Maybe Im a bit ****, but I love the white rims, but hate them when they have even a bit of ugliness to them.

I used 4 coats on the black roofline of my old 99 Z28, and it did help some... but not a ton...
So far, that is the only thing that I wasn't 100% happy with from Zaino.... though it did help somewhat.

Looks like it's ready for a show!! I love it!
Beautiful car, and great detailing job!
I used plenty of Meguiar's GC over the years, and it did shine quite well, but the durability and protection was horrible. I eventually went with Meguiar's Medallion and stayed with it and #26 for a long time afterwards.
I think you'll love how easy the car is to keep clean now too. Even after a mere wash, it looks like it was just polished.
Great job, love the pics!

BTW, if shine is your "only" concern, you ought to check out Pinnacle Souveran. That wax is made only for shine and argualby is the best pure wax on the market, with P21S/S100 a very close second. Those waxes value quality of shine above all else.

Where did you order the S100 wax?
I can't guarantee the S100 is as good as it used to be though. They just changed the formula. My first jar of S100 was a copy of P21S and was milky white. The latest jar was a yellowish color, but I have not used much of it. I think they downgraded the formula b/c too many people found out it was basically P21S for a cheaper price. Basically, I doubt the current S100 is "as good" as the real P21S now. Looks like too many people found out about their little secret.....
