What do you guys use...
...on your rims. I have the '99 C5 alloy thick 5 spokes. What do you guys recommend I use to get those ****'s to shine?

If they need cleaning, use a good car wash soap or a light cleaner like Simple Green first. To make them shine, use whatever wax you are using on the paint. If you are using a carnauba wax, it won't last long due to the high temps at the wheel surfaces, so rewax often. Your best bet is to use a polymer which can withstand higher heat and offer more protection. I use Zaino, but other poylmers include Klasse, Liquid Glass, NuFinish, etc...

Should I use a polish as well, or just the wax?

Yes, you can use both products on the rims. The deep crystal carnauba wax and polish are nonabrasive. Neither would do any damage to the wheels. The polish may help bring up a little gloss while the wax would help for protection, but it won't last long. Their deep crystal polish is really only for gloss enhancement, and nothing else. It's nothing more than oils which will wash off almost immediately, so personally I'd skip this step and just do the wax. If you need to use a mild cleaner, the deep crystal paint cleaner would be safe to help clean up any stubborn dirty spots. Then apply the polish and wax...
