What do you think is the best wax?

Re: What do you think is the best wax?
Well Zaino Bro's won "Best Wax" in a test with over 30 other waxes but you have to order it off the web. Just go pick up some Maguires "Gold class" polish & wax and try it. I have many many wax's/polish's on my shelf, some very expencive & the Gold Class Maguires is right up there with alot of them. Make sure its the "Gold Class" though.

Yeah 3M is good, I can get it from Napa and a few auto body/paint shops. You may want to look around for some, just remember, your not going to walk into Wal-Mart & find the "best wax" out there, but it will get you by untill you order some high end detail quality products. Also remember wax is a protectent, if you want you paint to have that deep deep wet gloss you have to use a polish first. Im not sure how far you are wanting to go with your wax job, and you most likely know to use a polish too I just figured I would mention it. ...3M™ Detail Polish #108...3M™ Perfect-It™ Show Car Wax, You need a polishing machine for the 3M. If you are used to using Raindance you will love the Meguires Gold Class Polish and Wax. Easy to use by hand, no machine needed. Check out Zaino Bro's products here.

I just found this Acura NSX fans personal site where he did a home based wax test on a old NSX hood, he had friends judge the best section of the hood...pretty cool....check it out...http://www.nsxsc.com/nsexcitement/waxtest.html

I'm actually using zymoil on the Camaro and its really a bitch to apply but the results are fine.
On my daily driver i'm using meguiars NXT, really easy to apply and sufficent for a dd IMO.
can't compare with Zaino, because I can't buy it here..

I love gold class meguiars, but its such a PAIN IN THE *** to use. Takes three times as long to apply and remove as 3m stuff, but does have the best result from my experience. I use it before shows, but use 3m perfect it most of the time.

I just get a kick out of it when this question comes up. Best wax is at best subjective. You will really have to try out products for yourself, and rely less on heresay. You may be quite surprised to know how well certain products will work with your paint.
Don't be surprised, as well, when a well touted product from many circles fails to live up to your expectation. Your results relies heavily on your prep work, accepting media (paint), and to a certain extent IMO the quality of the lsp.
Good luck. Lose the Raindance!!...j/k....(best way to say it) experiment!!!!!!

Cut the ties with the RD.....Theres a whole other world out there.
Im not sure if its the best, but i prefer to use either Blackfire or Ultimate Paint Protectant. Very user friendly, and decent durability, excellent depth and reflection.
