What would you charge?
What would you charge to detail an SUV?
I spent about 3 hrs., which involved washing vehicle, 2 coats of Zaino, cleaning/polish door jams, wiping down/cleaning interior, clean leather seats using Zaino cleaner and conditioner, vacuum/shampoo carpets, clean windows, and apply protectant where necessary.

[ since you are already done, you know.[/QUOTE]
I am "done", but I haven't collected yet. I have different packages for SUV's, car's, etc., which I have set prices on, but I was just trying to get an idea what someone might pay for the work I did on this particular SUV.

At work if I remeber correctly, we charged $225 I think. Its been a year since I worked there, but we did all the things you talked about, and we cleaned out the fenderwells and dressed up any black plastic on the outside. We were also located at the Cool Springs Mall, where rent is a b!atch, and we did everything by hand. To tell you the truth, unless you own the detail company, there is not a lot of money to be had in this business.
Also, if I was the one writing the ticket, and it was a nasty beast(like most Suburbans are) I would charge as much as I thought I could get away with. Sometimes I'd mark the price up $20 or $30. Unlike Dak, the owner, if people didn't like our prices, I wouldn't haggle with them on a reduced rate. I always said that all of our prices are final.
