The only real difference is the amount of time required to wait in between coats. With ZFX, it is much shorter. If I could go back, I would have just gotten Z1. I think ZFX is just too pricey for what you get, even though it goes a long way. Good luck.

 

Actually the ZFX is supposed to have some extra gloss enhancing in it I believe. I used the ZFX simply because it was easier than trying to put on a coat of Z-1 and wondering if I had it spread on correctly or not, and eliminating that step altogether. It was worth it to me to pay for the ZFX and not have to use the Z-1.

 

ZFX offers the best shine Zaino can give, there may not be a big difference, but there is a difference, ZFX will also give you a harder surface finish.
