Post Z12 Problems...

My car has some very faint scratches in the windshield from worn out wiperblades (previous owner).

They are very shallow, you can only see them in the right light.

Anyways I got some Z12 figureing it could take them out since it claims to be able to remove fine to medium scratches. Well the Z12 hasnt done a thing, I've applied it at least 3 times on the same small spot using varying methods.

First, I just applied it, let it haze, then removed it as the bottle says. No change (I didnt think it was going to work this way so I wasnt suprised).

Next I applied a small amount and rubbed it as hard as I could by hand with a cotton cloth. Again, no change.

Finally I busted out the orbital buffer and I gave it hell for ~5min. Guess what? No change

Right now im a bit disappointed, seeing as the rest of the Zaino line works well (for the most part) I was expecting better. Any more idea's before I take it to a glass shop or something?

Orbital will not work with Z-12, you need a high speed rotary buffer and wool pad to really work out the nasty scratches, glass is very, very hard so the Z-12 needs help.

I bought a 99 pickup to drive and the windshield was terrible, really bad in the rain. I used the Z-12 on it and made a huge difference. I need to get a buffer and foam pad and do it again after winter is over.

Thanks guys. Since I dont have a highspeed buffer I guess it would be better to take it to a professional.
