Would it be possible to start a sticky post in the For Sale section of bad sellers? The only way the bad sellers names would be remopved from this list is if they make good on their transactions. This would keep people in the know about the scammers floating around here.

Bad sellers don't make good on transactions, that is what makes them bad sellers. They don't care about being on any list. If they did, they wouldn't be bad sellers.

A better idea if people actually used common sense and stop sending money out to people they know nothing about. That is the ULTIMATE solution to this problem.

Unfortunately, people would rather take chances and then regret it later. We have enough warnings about this as it is. If people choose to ignore those warnings and choose not to use common sense, they have to deal with the regret of their actions. No list is going to stop that.

 

I completely understand and for the most part agree. I guess i've found that a list of bad sellers can sometimes help other sellers out as well when these scammers attempt to purchase their item(s). Just an idea. I know a couple other boards that make a list and make the list known to the members and its helped a bit. The other boards were considerably smaller than this though so I understand your position.

 

with the bad seller list its pretty easy to jsut get a new screename
