96 Z28 convertible for sale--droped to $8995
I am selling my car-- It is sebring silver with a black top and the newer style grey cloth interior. It has an LT1 with a 6 speed and traction control. The car has been meticulously maintained. Has some stone chips on the front bumper and a small dent in the right rear quarter panel but you can barely notice them. It looks awesome. The computer is custom programmed to OBD1 specs with the rear O2 sensors and CAGS skip shift eliminated. It currently has BBK headers with custom y pipe and flowmaster and cutout. I am leaving them on--too much of a pain to replace them(I have all the old stuff). K&N filter. I am putting on a set of 96 TA star rims with fairly worn tires(have SS rims on it now and will leave them for the right deal). It has a star stage 3 kevlar clutch with a centerforce flywheel(this thing is awesome). THe mileage is sitting right at 69k. It is the tightest convertible I have ever driven. The car is extremely nice and I hate to sell it but I need a new car to drive to work and an automatic to sit in traffic. The old Jeep I have been driving is not cutting it anymore and the only way I can get another car is to sell this one. Ask anyone that knows the car and they will tell you it is nice. I am installing a new Optispark on Friday for a quirky stalling problem so that is done.
Asking $8995 but am open to any offers. It has to go SOON!! I can email pics but would prefer you came by to look at it.

c'mon guys, I am open to offers. It has to go in the next week or so. Dealer offered $7500 cash value but said they would show me $9500. So basically anything above $7500 is better than I am getting at the dealer. I owe $10650 so somewhere in between would probably work. The car is nice.

You have never bought a car from a dealer before have you. All dealer used cars have about a $3000 to $4000 markup to negotiate. What they are doing is giving me $7500 but to help eleviate some of the inequity they will show the bank that they are actually giving me $9500 and with my $1200 down it breaks me even. Theat markup on dealer cars is either negotiable or used to bury inequity. So if it were not for my trade I could buy a $24000 car for $22000.
Does that make sense? It is a numbers game dealers play to make you feel better about trading your car. Actual cash value to trade my car is $7500.

How would you feel about swapping your manual transmission for someone's built automatic transmission? If you're interested in doing something like that, I know somebody who would be up for it. That way you get to keep your car and have an automatic.
Just a suggestion.
