what are some good paying jobs out there??

i'm thinking of moving down to that area next year with two of my buddies and they both work for Comcast Cable so they have jobs....i don't! Right now I do roofing sales for my dad's roofing company here in IL and I don't really want to do roofing down there, but I do want a job that pays pretty decent.

Any ideas, directions to point, people who are hiring, will be, anything??
