Do you need a new headliner, or is the old material just starting to sag/fall off yours? On one of my old cars (a 1988 Firebird) my headliner was all screwed, and I took it to a guy around my house and he took the old material off and re-did it for like $50 and it looked like it came from the factory. He did a real good job for cheap. If you want let me know and I'll see if I can get his number.

well the material around the t-tops is actually torn and falling down, and the area above the passenger's head is falling down. is that repairable? it'd require a whole new fabric at the least

How about you give Jason C. a call. Look up his email in the Tech sections.

Yeah, the guy I brought mine too could fix that for you. Mine was in about the same condition (it wasn't torn, but falling down everywhere). He just took all the old material off, but new on and put whatever type of glue they use, and it looked perfect and held up perfectly for another three years (before we got rid of the car). I'm looking for the name of the company/guy that did it (he was off of 434 by the batting cages-if you know where that is-before 17-92). Anyways, I'll keep looking-and it only cost $60 when he did mine. You could also get new material and try it yourself, but I think that might be a pain in the ***. I tried it on one of my buddies car, and it didn't come out too good.

This is Erik 94TransAm (just at work posting under my brothers name). I took it up there in the morning and it took him a few hours--but I stopped by during the week to get a quote from him and he made sure he had the right material. Might want to stop by and set up an appointment with him. I've only used him once, he did great work-my dad just bought an older vette and is thinking about using the guy as well.

$109 plus tax is my price at the dealer. I usually get cost plus 10% like the GMPartsDirect price, but no shipping/handling charge. LMK if you want it.

Later, Christian

went to Sunshine Auto this afternoon and got my headliner fixed. total came to $101.18. it took about an hour and a half. really nice guys. i stopped by Dixie and there was no one there, didn't look like a good business to i went to Sunshine.

do you guys know if pontiac warranties their window motors? i got my driver side replaced just over a year ago and on the way to Sunshine my motor was playing tricks on me when i was paying tolls. i rolled it down, then it wouldn't roll back up. i got off 408 and pulled over then it went up. rolled it down again and it got stuck half way. 30 sec later it went up. i paid the rest of my tolls by opening the car door. on the way back the window seemed to work fine. will they replace it if its messed up?
