FS: 1994 Z28 A4, Needs work, CHEAP!
The transmission decided to finally go out on my 94 z28. I work 5 days a week so I have to sell it soon in order to make a down payment on something else. It's a 94 Z28, with the 4L60E. Polo Green in Color. The transmission most likely needs a total rebuild. It will sometimes go into reverse immediately after starting, but will not go into any forward gears, and it was slowly slipping into first after a few seconds and grinding through second, the day before it went out.
The paint it is covered in tree sap due to sitting under Pine trees in my neighborhood. The interior is in decent shape, but misc things will need to be replaced....Door panel screws, window/door lock control panels, etc... Seats are in good shape, and drivers power seat still works.
The engine runs good with 134k on the odometer. Recently replaced plugs and wires. Optispark was replaced at around 90k by the previous owner with a Brand New one, so it still has lots of life left in it. A/C works well but could probably use a recharge. Injectors were recently replaced with stock size (24lb) SVO injectors. $400 in exhaust was installed just a few months ago, including a Flowmaster Muffler, gutted cat, and 24", 3" diameter Chrome tips. The exhaust sounds great!
Both the stock airbox, and a freshly oiled K&N FIPK cold air induction setup will be included. The rubber coupler that goes between the MAF and the K&N Airbox needs to be replaced.
Subwoofer wiring was installed a few years ago, and will left in the car. This includes 8 gauge monster cable power/ground, and Monster Interlink RCA's. The wiring is already routed and hidden, and is ready to be hooked up to your head unit/amplifier.
I would like to get $2000 for everything, but all offers will be considered.
