FS: 94 Z28 Convertible $3,100 OBO

Hey everyone, I'm listing this car for a friend of mine. Here are some of the details. 94 Z Covertible 107k miles. Motor runs great! Paint is Red and in near perfect condition as is the body. Black top. Car is still bone stock. I don't think he's even ever had the car over 80. He's not a speed freak. The interior is charcoal. Carpet is shot but dash, console etc is in good shape. The seats are shot but he has a practically new set of power ones that come with car in the garage just not installed. New window motors. Full power. Now here's the situation, the car has been sitting for about 6 months because he works downtown and bought an import for gas purposes. The car started missing. It's at Zembauers on 436 right now. They said that the water pump is leaking along with almost every other seal on the motor. Apparently, it's hitting the Optispark and causing to misfire. Also plugs, cables and Opti were replaced about a year ago I believe. The next major deal is the tranny. They say it's bad. However, it seems to come and go. It was having a problem shifting into fourth yesterday on the way up. Tires are brand new 245/50/16 good years with a new set of 10 spoke rims off a 2000 Z. Pics are available but I would prefer if interested to call him direct at 407-625-6462. His name is Andy. You can also email me at fast278@aol.com if interested. He just doesn't feel like investing money in the car. Basically needs a full engine gasket set, water pump, and a tranny at the worst.

If the water pump is leaking and the car is missing, the opti-spark is down for the count as well.

I wasn't sure if that ruined the opti or not, my 94 had the same problem, but I fixed the leak as soon as I found it and the car runs great. I think that he also parked his as soon as he found the leak, so I'm not sure if the opti is bad or not. The car runs good in the beginning and starts to miss after it warms up. Regardless, he's just cheap and isn't into working on his own car so he's not willing to repair any of it or the pay the outrageous price the garage wants in labor. Parts alone are cheap. I think this work out to be a great deal for someone who doesn't mind doing the repairs themselves. He said when they replaced the opti they were supposed to have went to the vented one. Clearly that isn't the case if he's still having problems when it gets a little wet. Thanks..Ken

Hey all if interested you have to email me at fast278@aol.com as my other email set up on here is out of commission right now.

I looked at it the other day, the top is black and not too bad, kind of got some material hanging out around the rear window. Not sure if it is whats leaking or not but the trunk had about a foot of water in it.
