How much do those school jobs pay?
I just got laid off on Tuesday. But with my severance and other misc things they are paying me I can either start my own business or take a few months off. But if those school jobs pay enough I might consider having a job again. (Even though I'm really looking forward to all that unemployment money for sitting around the house.)

If it helps you guys any my girlfreind jsut got hired by bank of america. She works at a deposit center, where all the armourred cars drop off the deposits from companies.
She gets $8.50 an hour and gets 34 hours a week. If you check out there website they have jobs all over the place for diffedrentg positions in different locations, like tellers and what not.

Oh yeah. I agree. Even if they called me tomorrow and asked me to come back, I'd most likely say no. But if I got to keep all my severance, maybe. But probably not. I've been dreading and worrying about it for over a year now. No more. I'm at the beginning of a new road. I can go wherever I decide to go. I just haven't decided where yet.
Anybody got any good ideas for a business to start? Partnerships are okay too.
Things I'd like to have in a business: (in order of importance)
NOT MLM!!!
Less than 20K to start up.
Ability to bring in at least 40K.
Expandable to someday have employees/partners.
Schedule flexability.
Not dependant on tourism.
Not geographically restricted.
Working with cars, boats, anything that floats or has wheels.
CASH $$$
