I'm still up here in Mass right now, I leave tonight at 8pm. But while I was up here I accomplished more than I thought I would, I got a good job and a place to stay!!!! I got a job at a chick-fil-a and they're actually going to pay me $10/hr. They're evidently new up here(there's only 3 in all of New England) and they need alot of help. I'm going to help them do a little marketing stuff(basically give out alot of free food) and other stuff, probably try to be at least a shift manager in the first month or two. And I also found a place to stay that's literally right across the street from my girlfriends school! It's within a 5 minute walking distance. The place is only $420/month and it's a really nice house, and the people are really nice too(I'm renting one room out of the second floor). So I am tenatively set to move Oct 18th, I'm going to fly Tiffany down here so she can ride up there with me(don't want to do a 20+hour drive by myself).

So I got everything set, all that's left to do is turn in my 2 week at work when I get back and sell the bike(which hopefully is sold, but it's not 100% sure yet). So if anyone wants a Red 97 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R with mods(it's fast, trust me) let me know and if this first deal doesn't work out we'll see what we can do. I'm so freaking excited I can't even tell you! This is going to be my first real move ever, I've lived in Florida my whole life. I still can't believe I got everything worked out on this trip, I was half expecting to move up here without a job and have to find one when I got here. Well I'll be home tonight around 11:30 or 12 and I'll check this post then. I want to see all of you guys before I move, so we gotta plan something. Everyone post your suggestions(and if anyone wants to suggest a strip club or anything like that you can just forget about it now).

 

Damn $10.00 an hour being a manager at Ckick-fil-a?

I get $7.50 an hour as a manager for Regal Cinemas, I handle more registers then oyu, been trained how to operate and fix projecxtors, normal cosing shift is at least 3am on the weekends, and my place is open 365 days a year, and I proabable have twice the cash you do go through my hands.

And they jsut jacked up ticket prices again, $8.50 for an adult at night, but of ocurse ticket prices all go to hollywood.

nothing like working for a poorly run company.

 

Good luck with everything. Looks like you're moving up there just in time for winter, hope you like cold weather. You'll have to hear Mark's car before you go. You haven't seen it since we fired it up last Sunday night have you? Anyway, hope all goes well on your new endeavor.

 

dang dude, good for you though. gonna be sad to see ya go, but i know everything will work out for ya! your braver than i am for leaving the state! i live 5 mile from where i grew up !!

Congrats Mike! Looks like you have things pretty well set-up. Take some pictures of the beach and sun while you're still down here since you won't be seeing much of either for a while. I don't miss the cold weather at all so I hope you get adjusted to it real quick. Never thought you'd be looking forward to a vacation to Florida did you.
