MSCC June Event

I'll be there and I'm meeting up with someone bringing a 68 Camaro out as well. I'm sure Jim Mueller and Soma07will be there as well but it doesn't look like 2002Z28SSConv is going to make it this month. Hope to see you there.

Don't be so sure. I said I might quit the job and show up anyway. And if I don't sell 3 cars tomorrow I'll probably see you there.
Sorry Jeff.

Is that fella with the 68 Camaro going to be racing it? If Don isn't in the points race, maybe he should bring out his old Camaro as well.

It's free to watch, or $25 (IIRC) to compete for non-members. If you plan on competing, be there by 8AM at the latest. Better to be there early than to have to rush through everything. It's autocrossing, not drag racing. Kinda like a drag race launch, but with cornering maneuvers in between the start and finish.
If you just want to watch, bring your anti-sun products (sunscreen, hats, umbrellas, etc), lawn chairs, coolers, etc. Once the competition runs are over, you can ride along on fun-runs for $2 each run. The Pink Pig (traveling food van) should be there with your basic selection of hot foods & cold drinks. No booze on the premise. Do not park on the grass.
As for directions, make your way to the corner of SR441 & toll road 429 just NW of Apopka. Take 441 Northbound, then take a left on CR448. You can take the truck route, or drive a couple miles further and take Sadler. Either way, follow it until it T's off, then turn right. Follow until you come to a 4-way stoplight, then turn left on CR561. Turn right on Frankies Road - it's a mile or two up on the right hand side of the road, just past the old landfill.
I spoke with Don and he won't be bringing his Camaro. Seems it needs some maintenance.

For most any questions, you can go to www.martinsportscarclub.com .
Fun Runs are usually only $1.00. I guess Jim wants to make a little money by giving rides.
The first gen is being brought by a guy from England. He had actually been talking to George before me. He just saw my GTP trophy on my desk at work and started talking about autocrossing. The car has feul injection and mucho suspension mods. Sounded really cool.
The course map is .here
