That is all.

Re: New Ride!

Where'd you end up getting it from? I'm guessing it wasn't courtesy due to the fiasco...unless you talked them into cutting a sweet *** deal in trade for 86-ing the lawsuit.

So you got it with the whole 9? Nav?

Re: New Ride!

I ended up getting it from Central Florida Toyota...they were a bunch of *** clowns as well. They tried to pull some bait and switch nonsense w/me last minute...I got all fired up and actually ended up negotiating a better deal w/them after that.

Its got every single option other than the navigation...I'm gonna end up getting a navigation system put in probably at the end of the month from Best Buy or something. As much as I wanted the in dash one, I just couldn't see paying 2K for it. Even if I wanted it, I still couldn't get it as that car doesn't exist anywhere in the southeast at the current momemnt.

Re: New Ride!

As far as the lawsuit thing goes...wasn't ever gonna be a lawsuit. Basically, they did some pretty shady stuff with my personal information...i.e. SS#, Driver's License, D.O.B., Signature, etc...

They mishandled all my personal information in a VERY unprofessional manner...I was not very pleased to say the least. I would not reccomend that place to anybody...nor would I reccomend the place I got my car from either. While I'm at it, I wouldn't go to David Maus toyota as well...when you look up the word honesty in the encyclopedia, you certainly won't find their picture next to it. The only Toyota dealership that treated me well in this whole experience is Toyota of Orlando, yet it seemed that they just didn't care enough to earn my business.

So in closing, if you're gonna buy a Toyota, don't do it anywhere in Central Florida.

Re: New Ride!

You should be trying to sell something. You lose 10 Jew points for not trying to sell something. Anybody want to buy a JetChip? And you should be suing them too. I know a nice Jewish lawyer who will sue the crap out of those Al-quaedas.

To sum up the dealers in Central Florida (because I was at ALL of them):

1. David Maus: Honkeys.
2. Courtesy: Al-quaedas.
3. Toyota of Orlando: wicked smaht.
4. Central Florida: Yankees fans. 'Nuff said. And they're going to die virgins.

Note: this post if for the express entertainment purposes of Dirty Dog Dan Berger and myself only. No one else should really read it cause it will not be funny and will in all likelihood make you dumber. But you'll still be smarter than the sales guy today at Central Florida Toyota. Unless you are also a Yankees fan, in which there is no hope for you either. Kill yourself immediately.

Re: New Ride!

Deland Toyota. Old neighbor works there. Bought the wife's Scion there without any arguement over her mustang trade. "How much you want?", I told them, and that was it. Only second best dealer experience to buying my camaro, where I was a friend of a friend of the owner. It's all about connections and knowing what you want when you walk in...

Re: New Ride!

I've never been lied to as much as when I worked in sales at a dealership. I tried my best to give people what they wanted and not rip them off. Lies Lies Lies and people wasting my time was all I got. If I ever got a serious buyer that was ready to buy a car I think I would have fainted right there on the spot. And when you work for commission, that sucks hard. Most salesmen that have been doing it for any length of time become jaded from the way the CUSTOMERS treat them. Then it's all about how much money they can ring out of you. Sucks but it's true. Be prepared. Let them know that you are ready to buy, you're not gonna be ripped off and that you've done your homework and ANY salesman will bend over backwards to earn your business. They'll never turn down another check mark next to their name. Even if the don't make much on the actual sale. Their commision structure gets higher if they sell more cars during any given month.

This is the exact opposite of what I got at Daytona Nissan. Long story of typical car salesman. I went the NEXT night to Bill Ray in Longwood and ordered my XTerra. I knew the truck, options, color, how much my trade was worth, how much I wanted to pay, had arranged financing. Unbelieveable...

Couldnt have said it better myself. Buyers are liars. They will tell you that X dealership offered them X car for an unreasonable price to try to see if you will beat it. I asked a couple customers what they were doing at my dealership if David Maus offered them that car for that price!
