One more try! Ranger for sale w/pics

99 Ranger, white, grey cloth interior.
4x4 off-road package
Towing package
Rhino Liner bedliner
Rear sliding glass
Automatic

Truck is VERY clean, paint is shiny, interior is very clean with no scratches or tears or cuts.

91,000 miles

Private party value on kbb is $9000, we're asking $7900 in the interest of selling it ASAP. Just had an oil change and will also have the transmission fluid changed before selling. A/C blows freezing cold air and everything in the vehicle works great. E-mail inquiries to tentimes2@yahoo.com. Truck is located in lake mary area.

Ford cars may suck... but they do alright with trucks. My family has had a '90 Ranger since it was brand new. The ac doesn't blow cold, and we needed to replace the transmision, but that's it. It's got a nice kick to it too (but a F-Body it ain't).

Sorry to hijack the post... just wanted to say that Rangers are nice trucks.

No offense but I just blue booked it and it came up to $8,360. Thats private party value, not trade-in or retail.

Its kind of rude to come into this thread and post a wrong low value for the price of a vehicle I'm trying to sell, which could wrongly hurt the ability to sell the vehicle in the future.

I'm guessing you didn't include the following information:

Equipment
Off Road Pkg
XL
Air Conditioning
Power Steering
Power Windows
Power Door Locks
Cruise Control
AM/FM Stereo
Single Compact Disc
Dual Front Air Bags
Sliding Rear Window
Bed Liner
Towing Pkg
Premium Wheels
Ovrsize Off-Rd Tires

4.0L V6
Automatic Transmission

Consumer Rated Condition: Excellent

Private Party Value Search Local Listings for This Car $8,360
Private Party value represents what you might expect to pay for a used car when purchasing from a private party. It may also represent the value you might expect to receive when selling your own used car to another private party.

Hey good job trying to hijack someones for sale thread, and falsely accusing him of jacking the price. Next time get all the details before you start spouting your mouth off where you have no business.

ohh man will you give it a break...and no shes not hijacking a thread, It just is amazing that alot of people ( not saying the guy selling the truck) but alot of people around here want way to much for some trucks.2-3K more than the worth.yes I have been looking and most of these guys think that they got gods gift to trucks and overprice it for no reason. Im not saying its the case, but it has been while looking for a truck..

same for some F Body owners..some guys want 22K for a 60K Z28..BUT ITS IN EXCELENT SHAPE...so what..not for 22K..see what I mean...

no harm no foul..It is a nice truck and looks the price...its just another TTT for ya

so, if someone comes on here and tries to sell their car for way way way more than they're going to get, then the best thing to do is keep quiet and let that person flounder wondering why their car isn't selling?

hah! fat chance

besides, she said someone might be interested, so its not like its some random person comming along, isn't it the buyer's responsibility to investigate what the price should be?

Guys, the bottom line is that if someone has a problem with the price, they need to PM the person, not publicly denounce the price they're asking and say its not worth anywhere near that much. Even if the truck WAS priced way above what it's worth, the proper channel would be PM. It's very rude to put down a price you think someone else's vehicle may be worth unless they requested that you do so.

My point exactly. No one here is a price vigilante, so don't swing in here like Batman trying to right some wrong. Plus, even if it was overpriced, not only is it the sellers prerogative to ask what they want, but also, if someone is grown up enough to be making a decision like purchasing a car, they should also be grown up enough to decide if thats a fair price for them on their own. Case and point, you don't see people standing with picket signs in peoples front yard when they are selling a car for too much, trying to warn the general populace... so don't do it in someones thread either, like was said.. Its just plain rude.
