well the 3.4 took his *** bad.. I bet with drag slicks he could run 15.2 easy....

the 3.8 lost each time by reaction time. If he could only launch...

I won by .2426, despite the redlight, and my crappy r/t

Also on this run my tranny took a dump

I have a hard tiem getting it into 1st, and cannot get it into 3rd, gets stuck in 4th, and netral, and makes floating metal pieces noise in all gears and in neutral with the RPMs

Also I manged a track weight of 3020, didn't break my goal of under 3000, but still pretty good.

I was able to limp the car home, and now I am sporting the girlfriend who is not in the country's Cavalier, and the low coolant light is going off

Ohh well Ihad alot of fun, nice to have a freindly rivalry, and even better I got to see predator birds 3.4L, I love ot see 3.4Ls other then mine, they are so rare I have seen more 30th anniversary lt4s in the last 3 months then modded 3.4Ls

It was fun, although I really needed to run faster and the redlight in the $ round didn't help. My gears are screwing me up, I need to go to a 3.42 or 3.73 rear.

There was a dyno at OSW last night. After my last run and giving away money I had 3 dyno pulls. My last pull was 160.3hp and 195 ft-lbs at the wheels. God that sucks....

last night was good fun, even though i wasn't able to come near my best time. i didn't get good traction at all, but then again i've only run maybe 10 times so i don't have the launch down.

once you get those gears gol10dr that should help out. did you ever find the lights? heres a link for the website. http://www.procarparts.com/store/dis...IAC%20FIREBIRD go to page 2 for the lights.

that pic is pretty funny mustangeater, sucks it wasn't any clearer. congrats on the wins.

For all those going to race at the SLP day and need a cheap helmet.. I found a DOT approved helmet for under 40 bucks.

www. sportsmanguide.com

WX1 - 58716 Black motorcycle helmet 39.97

So if i decide to actually race at SLP day, i think this may be the way to go.

Thats not too far off from what is most 3.8Ls make, alot of mildly modded guys get about 170ish to the ground...

makes you feel anybetter, your to the ground numbers are what my factory specs are stock, which many 3.4Ls don't reach

I really really really wanted to dyno my car, but alas tranny problems gonna spend some time making the car look stockish, and see if I can get it fixed under warranty...

Tranny was rebuilt less then 4,000 miles ago, and its already trashed.
