They are all scams, and the people who sell them are litle bitches. If i get asked one more time to buy this ****, and then after saying no, they get pissed..ima get out and start swinging, and if they are bigger then me, my bat is in the back seat LOL......red96gt, tell your boys to sell me a set, i wanna meet them again...i wont call in a tag, trust me on that buddy.

people like you are scum...cant make a living on a real job...you have to scam **** *** speakers and try to rip people off.....Just like the people who sell the colone..."This is the same as clear water" etc.... To many people try to scam for a living, and the sad part is.....Most of them make a living off of it.

I really feel sorry for these people that fall for this, cause they dont know any better....Cause you know what...If i was 16, and was wanting a system and dident have the $$, i would of bought a set. I know 3 people who feel for it in daytona, and they BLEW..all 3 of them BLEW. Tell me these are good quailty....

O well...Scamming will only get you so far, then you will wake up and the world will hit you in the ***. i dont even know how the people have HEART to do this. I dont have the heart to take something from someone, i dont even have the heart to charge $$ to a friend if they need something installed, or a program for there computer (aka whipser chris). These people just have no morals, and will wake up oneday and be like...WTF have i been doing!

I sure cant wait for it to kick in!

If its such a good deal why don't they go to UCF, set up a table and sell them, its a freaking flea market infront of the student Union, I woud say a good 7k people walk by there looking at stuff, and it would spread by word of mouth veeeery quickly people showing up to classes with new speaker systems.

And who is looking for cool stuff at cheap prices, college students.

Reason why they don't do this, is the word of mouth woudl get spread that the speakers suck, and if I was bunred onthe system I woudl sit outside and badmouth them to every person that walks up.

Hey i want to bring this thread back up. A friend of mine was approached at his business (my friend is 18) by a guy (im not sure what kind of car he was in). The guy said asked if he wanted to buy a home audio system for like $600, my friend said no. Then he said "well home much would you buy it for"? My friend said $200, he said ok. Hmm seems a little fishy to me. Then my friend said "let me call some buddies of mine and see what they say" he said "no i am leaving town right now and need to sell these right now". So my friend bought them. I cant remember what the brand was called on the speakers, it was 3 letters, like jmd or jdm or something.

Are these the same speakers, or same scam?

Well kmook the speakers i bought looked good, had nice rubber cones with titanium ends on the tweeter, and sounded ok. They were listed for 1200 dollars i paid 200 bucks for them too. They were dyna lab SDA's.

Im still not sure if they are actual scams or the guys are ripping off there bosses.
All of them always have the same story, that they have to dump them now.
I looked up dyna labs on Ebay and they went for 250 bucks... Im guessing i go the real thing.

audioreview thread

never buy speakers unless its from an audio store and youve listened to them, or youve read online reviews

This is an old scam. I routinely got approached when I was here in school in 1987, and it happened a few times in VA Beach, too.

Lets face it, these guys are hanging around banks as you are coming out (hopefully with cash) and they are trying to sell you something like you are getting a great deal of a life time by lying about how they got the product. They prey on human instinct of getting something for nothing and it works alot of times. Your either smart enough to avoid it or you learn a lesson.

a very valuable lesson. ANYTHING that is too good to be true, is.

a Rep from MIC came by the house last week to save me a few hundred on my house payment

REAL high pressure sales pitch, "buy it NOW OR NEVER" called his manager, his mgr siad "BUY IT NOW OR NEVER"

turns out, i would have lost over $7k with them. took thier Good Faith Estimate to my local mortage company, and their GFE was $7k less.

learn young, or learn alot $$$ later.
in bigger amounts.

always be afraid.
and keep your money in your pocket.
