Sorry Eric! I wouldn't sell it to you for $4,000. lol You break torque arms with a V6. I'm sure you'd find a way (I don't know how but I'm sure you would) to stand this torque monster on end and flip it over on its roof.

Believe me! I don't want to scare potential buyers away. But this is definately not the car for you bud. There isn't a part in the drivetrain that is stock. Buying parts is fun when you go into Autozone and say,"I need a fuel pump for a 350 Chevy." Then they ask whats it going in and they say, that I meant 305. Then I have to explain that I think the motor's out of a 75 ElCamino. But some of the parts were from the Camaro and some were Frankensteined from other donors. A college student's bank book would get thin pretty quick.

hehe, don;t worry I am planning ahead, I am looking for possibly at a 2000 v6 camaro with 20k and a warranty to match(no modding), and possibly a 3rd gen or 5.0 on the side.

I am getting weary of a lt1, ones I want usually have close to 100k on it, and I am thinking against spending that much for a used car with 100k.

I figure reliable daily driver, that I will treat nicer and a second car for fun.

I am looking to do a motor swap unless I can find a really cheap 350 tpi, and that part is already done on your car.

I am also looking into mid to early 80s, Monte Carlos/Regals/Cutlasses, they seem to be dirt cheap, and v8 worthy with RWD.

It doesn't do well at the track because of the stock torque converter. By the time it gets into its power band, it's already been 3 seconds and the Civic next door is 5 car lengths ahead.

Yeah a friend of mine let me drive his cammed and ported headed 83 305 Firebird, probable a good low 15 second car bu has so much more potential with a better converter or jsut a manually tranny, it has a mean power band jsut the car does not ride it right, would be a solid 14s car, if not already a possible high 14s now.

Put a high stall and make it a drag car if ya won't sell it to me....

I kinda want to start on a third gen from scratch but your price was nice

I was thinking of picking up a 305 3rd gen, start prepping a 350 on the side, and juice the **** out of the 305 until i reach the limits and hopefully have the 350 ready.

What are you gonna do with a project car in your apt building? Don't they already give you a hard time for working on your present car?

Honestly Eric, I'd sell it to whoever shows the green. Just don't believe you'll make a daily drivin' street deamon out of it. The only times I ever had it running really good when I went to OSW I broke stuff. Mucho torque.
