If you find a car you REALLY want, and doesn't have t-tops you could always do a t-top conversion. I am thinking about doing it to mine, but don't know if I have the ***** to do it or not. I want it to look stock if I do it-and not have everyone know i chopped my roof off. Maybe I can do it and then sell you my car and look for a LS1

I know what you mean about having hte ***** to do it. Some people on this list make it seem that its no harder than doing header installs (or so they make it seem). But I saw the pics and write up and there is no way I'm gona hack my roof liek that.

I agree on t-top conversion... I looked into it ot do on my dad's car, he really wanted t-tops but could not get it worked out...

As for the getting t-tops, I am not sure I am going to take my car ot the extremes I did the 3.4L. I have 137 timeslips, and maybe abotu 20 more, I ahv elsot or laying around somewhere else.

Not sure I want ot put another daily driver through that kind of abuse again. And I don't wxactly drive normal on the streets

Stick with your plan on 6-speed and t-tops. With the prices their at right now, might as well get what you want. No need to rush into anything.

Hey goal10dr watch out.... You may be the slowest left in o-town after this..
hehe actually i'll still be the slowest in town. looks like i'll be all by myself w/ my weak little 3.4L on a side note, my dad is selling his '65 pontiac gto this week for 13k and he told me he wanted to get an f-body. he's coming up here for slp day and i think that will convince him to get one. i'll most likely spend my money on modding his car if he gets one.

btw quick financces after payday, right now I can do about $1400-1500 and still be get through some stuff... course Spring break will be here in Orlando, no fancy trips but ehh... wasn't planning much anyways. I'll still have a decent amount of money for partying after March 18th when I turn 21(yeah I budgeted alcohom and partying) I still have a decent amount of alcohol left to tied me over as well.

I am trying to get in contact with my dad to see how my taxes are going, and if a refund is in my future(still filed as dependent under him)

think my creidt history is good that I could get a $7000 loan?

-2.5 years of renting under my name rent alwasy on time
-cell phone for 1.5 years in my name, always paid
-3 credit cards over 4 years, and only one late payment, and all balances paid off.
-I have ~$11k of availible credit on cards..
-I have been at my job for 2.5 years.

Get a car ASAP.. Then lets go out and run goal10dr and make him move up to an 8...

I doubt he will, but he has a perfect car... Low miles, perfect body, but a 6 and why would he swap that for a high mileage 8...

He toss in some forged pistons boost a pump and 125 shot he might be in the 13.9-14.5 area..

Personaly I would NEVER buy a car from eabay. That seems like too much of a risk.

He mentions the power programmer, and tach which worres me, cuz maybe he sold his 125 shot on this board.

You need to kill most of those CC's. That is potential debt that the credit people will notice and count against you. Also, Go to www.peoplefirst.com and get you a loan. They have some of the best rates and great service. Will get approved by a phone call 15 minutes after you apply and they will have the check to you in a day or 2. Both my wife and I have loans through them. You will need good credit though. I think $7500 is the minimum amount you can get though.

goal10dr add 2K to your 10K loan now and own a ls1 running 13's all day long and spend 3K and run 12's all day and still be faster day in and day out with a new ride and get more miles out of the engine? Or spend 3-4 k less and get a lt1 running 13's alll day
