Post Where is Sunrise, FL??

Thinking about hitting FL in the wintertime again and try and catch a Hockey game there - where exactly is this place?

I know - nobody can compare to the Wings But it's coooooold in Detroit during the Winter and a few people on the other Message Board we run http://www.chasingstanley.com thought it would be cool to get together somewhere warm in the Winter and also be able to watch a game.

Cool

Better go see them before they get sold off! HA HA - which team will leave first - Marlins or the Panthers? I just thought it was pretty bad last fall when the Dolphins made it into the play-offs and they couldn't sell out Joe Robbie Stadium - the game was blacked out down here. Might've had something to do with the price of the tickets - I think the nose bleed section tickets were $60?

Yes, it is sad the sports fans down here. I was at that Dolphin playoff game, that's more than once in the last few years they haven't sold out the playoff game.

Being from Chicago, we would never let that happen. The Bears were sold out in much colder weather...sad reflection on Dolphin fans. I mostly dislike the fins cause of their "lack of knowledge fans".

Every year they think they're going to the SuperBowl, yet they barely change. Although this year, they did get Ricky Williams. But can he help them overcome getting spanked in 2nd round games 4 years in a row?? (The one year I think they gave up 40 points to the JAGS and over 27 to both DEN and OAK.)
