thats a bunch of crap, did you get a ticket?

i was actually surprised, for the ratio of domestics to ricers there the domestic guys were doing more than their fair share of stupid stuff (not talking about ya'll, just in general)

you've blown the rear, and you've killed the bottom end in just a few months.

whoa buddy........you seem to be mis-informed...allow me to put you in your place.

1. Yes...the rear end was blown soon after my buddy bought the car...McLeod dual friction + 400rwhp = a blown stock 10 bolt

2. He brought the car to me the very second he got it in town...and he was suspecting a loose rocker arm...he was right.

3. We reset all the rockers (correctly) and the problem remained

4. pulled off the intake manifold to find a cracked head, broken valves and collapsed lifters

5. decided to pull the cam...and it looked like someone hit the cam loped with a sledge hammer.

so we swapped motors, put a new cam and different heads on and now it runs fine....so do your research before you start pointing fingers.

Love,
Dad

Dear Dad,

Tightening 3 turns past zero lash is not good. Car lasted a very long time on that 10bolt with no problems.

ps: Mom sends her condolences.

Sincerely,
Sneakin' Deacon

It doesnt matter how long the 10 bolt lasted before it went, they are junk and can go on a completly stock vehicle let alone one with mods.I rebuilt mine and it lasted about 10 nitrous launches before it cracked the carier.

the car hasn't been on the road long enough to be put through hell. care to give evidence to back up your baseless claims? you havent' mentioned anything that was his fault yet.
