Yes you are correct .... the Delteq system will light off anything you can throw at it .......

I could still run a window switch without the DIS-4 couldn't I? All I need is a tach input. If this system doesn't affect the signal to my actual tachometer, I don't see why it would affect a window switch unless I am missing something.

I guess it's safe to say you can't mount that on top of the intake? Coils look too big to fit between there and the cowl. Anyone tried mounting on the firewall yet? I want to make the wires short as possible. Thanks. Nice setup I'll be ordering mine w/in a few days Jim or even today if I get a deal to go through on some coils.

Hey Maldo, I've got the kit (Haven't installed yet), but I was wondering, do they plan on offering any other color wires than black? It is my opinion they might sell more wires if they offered them in different colors (Or at least I'd buy a set )...

Good question.... The answer is yes ...

I will be offering other colors for the wires. Also I am playing with colors for the coils and brackets. I will keep everyone updated as soon as it’s released

I've had my kit for a while but haven't finished the install. I'm on Dad Duty most of the time, and only get to work on the car (which is undergoing several upgrades at the same time right now) about 30 minutes at a time at best.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've taken good, hi-res digital pictures of every step of the way, but don't have anywhere to host them... My car is slightly different because I have an SLP Cold Air Intake which I probably should have removed to make things easier, but otherwise my engine looks completely stock. I took pictures last night of the magic box and the path of stuff I had to take off to install it, and the same with the radiator shroud mounted coils from several different angles.

Hopefully over the weekend I'll get the wiring harnesses run and plug wires routed, and I'm pretty picky when it comes to running wires, so I'll takes lots of pictures of those too. New plugs went in already as well, so I'll have some helpful hints for replacing plugs that I didn't see posted here anywhere.

I also ran into a few things that the instructions didn't cover. I'll point those out in the pictures, and give a brief rundown of anything not covered in the instructions sometime after I get the car running. No ETA on completion though...

VERY anxious to drive the car again!!!

Sweet!

Can you explain why he said that the wires the kit comes with, the carbon core wires, are good enough? I may have misinterpreted but I got the impression that they were a "cheap" wire...why wouldn't this system benefit from a higher quality wire?

My Pleasure! I can send the Hi-Res versions so you can do whatever you want with them, or I can also reduce the resolution on them to a much more manageable say 50k-100k depending on the picture if you don't want to eat up a lot of disk space.

Either way we'll figure out a way to get them all to you.

Paul
