Question 1991 z28 Suspension versus 1991 RS - Coils Struts...

Hi everyone done a bit of research on this and haven't come up with much. I was wondering is the 1991 z28 front suspension (coils and struts) different then the 1991 RS. I am starring at the parts of both cars and they look the same. I know the z28 is suppose to have stiffer parts but just want to confirm before I do the swap

The struts are the same the only differance is the springs.
The springs have a differant spring rate.

Hey Chris thanks for the reply. I think you right today I was working on both cars and while the springs look the same I noticed that they still had GM stickers with item numbers on them and they were both different.

My RS has 72k miles on those springs while the z28 has something like 145k miles on its springs...Anyone think its worth to swap them?

Well you can buy Springs for under 100 bucks.
So it's up to you.
I would just get new springs unless money is a problem.
No problem glad I could help.

Yea with 145k miles on those springs I don't think it's worth the risk.
